A Dental Implant Example
JF lost his front tooth in an accident 2 and a half years ago. Because of the way the tooth was lost the bone disappeared too. The jaw bone in this area was now too thin in width and short in height to place regular dental implants.
A combination of the new shorter implants and adding extra bone, plus a decent amount of time produced these stunning results. The implant retained crown looks so much better than the “normal” crown next to it which has a metal margin and really should/ will be replaced in time.
It’s amazing what we can do today. Without implants we would have had to either cut the teeth down to little pegs either side of the missing tooth or live with wearing a denture (what the patient) had. You have to remove this just to be able to eat!

To help you if you are nervous of dental treatment, we have several options. Dr Lalani has completed the one year diploma in Hypnosis at UCL and uses several relaxation techniques to make the procedure as pleasant and relaxing as possible. Having used these safe techniques for several years many dentists refer their nervous patients to him for dental implant treatment. As part of his teaching on the Vocational dental courses "treatment of the nervous patient" is one of the seminars he runs
If something more is needed we are able to offer sedation for the treatment phase so even the very nervous patient is able to complete planned treatment easily and effectively.

JL was referred to Smile Dental Implants in Surrey by his local Surrey dentist because his bridge had broken down (all teeth holding the bridge were decayed). JL had a temporary denture and as a professional saxophone player made work very difficult. Loose dentures make talking and eating difficult, but when you are a saxophone player loose or wobby dentures become a real problem.
So we replaced his previous bridge and loose temporary denture with a new bridge supported by titanium dental implants. These will not rot away, so he is assured for a confident smile for life! He can now continue playing the saxophone confident nothing is going to move about as he blows!
