Our wonderful patient asked us for help to replace a missing upper left first premolar (UL4) and an irreversibly damaged upper left first molar (UL6) as well as an upper right second premolar (UR5). Our patient wanted to restore the natural function and aesthetics of his smile without compromising his healthy teeth.
The Solution: Dental Implants
Dental implants were the ideal solution for this case. We successfully placed high-quality dental implants in the UL4 and UR5 positions, complemented by a bone graft to enhance bone volume. To promote optimal healing and graft maturation, we incorporated platelet-rich fibrin into the bone graft.
Due to a significant infection in the UL6, we allowed a healing period of three months before placing the dental implant in this area.
Custom Restoration for a Natural Look
Three months after the dental implant placements, we restored all three teeth with bespoke zirconia crowns, ensuring a perfect match for our patient’s natural teeth. Additionally, we provided professional tooth whitening and addressed a few decayed teeth with composite white fillings.
Our patient was thrilled with the results, his new fully functioning dentition and radiant smile transformed his confidence.
