Fractured Tooth Replaced with a Dental Implant

This wonderful patient faced the unfortunate challenge of a fractured upper central incisor. On examination the tooth was deemed unrestorable, requiring a reliable replacement option. After discussing the dental treatment options, which were either a denture, a bridge, or a dental implant our patient selected a dental implant for its strength, comfort, and the ability to avoid relying on adjacent teeth for support.
On the day of the procedure, we carefully removed the damaged root and placed a dental implant along with a bone graft at the site of the fractured upper central incisor. Four months later, we secured a beautiful permanent dental crown on top of the dental implant.
As you can see in our before and after images, this dental implant serves as an excellent replacement for the lost tooth, providing functionality and aesthetics without compromising the health of the neighbouring teeth.
